Lackadaisical Tones Dominate Tuesday's Livestock Market
Heading into Wednesday's market Northern asking prices could surface but
cash cattle trade isn't expected to surface until Thursday or Friday.

It was a lackadaisical day for the livestock complex as traders only paid
the market minimal attention. Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct
Afternoon Hog Report, up $1.79 with a weighted average price of $72.70 on 5,422
head. May corn is up 2 cents per bushel and May soybean meal is down $3.70. The
Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 96.82 points.
