EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 6 1/4 cents per
bushel, November soybeans are down 15 cents, December KC wheat is down 8 cents,
December Chicago wheat is down 6 cents, and MIAX December Minneapolis wheat is
down 0.0375 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Thursday, December corn rose 6 cents, November soybeans
rose 22 3/4 cents, and December KC wheat rose 12 1/2 cents. Soybean, corn and
soft red winter wheat basis was steady Thursday, while spring wheat basis was
weaker and hard red winter wheat basis was stronger. The soybean market led the
way on Thursday amid analysts' estimates that the USDA may tighten yield and
ending stocks in Friday's WASDE Report. Additionally, strong demand from China
is helping soybean prices recover from a slow start to the week. Corn followed
soybeans and wheat higher. The ongoing escalation of the Black Sea war is
underpinning wheat prices. Traders are reacting to escalating war activity that
is pushing up crude oil. Higher crude oil prices create additional demand for
biofuels. Diesel prices reached $6 a gallon for the first time ever on Friday.
Any price-limiting pressure is coming from traders liquidating long positions
ahead of Friday's USDA WASDE Report. Traders expect the USDA data on Friday to
show large production estimates, though lower yields and tighter ending stocks
estimates. Friday will be a full schedule for reports and data. USDA's delayed
Weekly Export Sales Report drops at 7:30 a.m. CDT. The WASDE Report, released
at 11:00 am CDT, will be the feature of Friday's trade. The CFTC's Commitments
of Traders report comes out at 2:30 p.m. CDT, updating positions as of Tuesday,
September 8.

Industrial Average down 316.56 at 52,064.10 and the S&P 500 down 44.66 at
7,591.70. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.944%. Early Friday, the
September Dow Jones Futures are up 303 points. European markets are higher,
with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading up 0.42%, spot futures of
Germany's DAX trading up 0.5%, and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up
